Tutorial: create a beam and perform a linear elastic study with Salome_meca

In this video tutorial, learn how to use the Shaper module of Salome to sketch and generate a beam, use the SMESH module to discretize the geometry, and run the automatic linear elastic wizard of the AsterStudy module to automatically prepare a ready-to-run study.

code_aster is a finite element open source solver specialized in mechanical / structural / solid physics developed by EDF R&D. Salome-Meca provides a graphical user interface ""AsterStudy"" in addition to the usual CAD and meshing tools provided with Salome. Feel free to download and use it!
