Telemac viewer: a new tool for real life visualization of hydraulic simulations
September 23, 2026

Video summary
This video presents a new software to visualize data resulting from openTELEMAC hydraulic simulations in a realistic 3d environment rendered with unreal engine. Developed by Scalian and EDF R&D; Telemac Viewer is a brand new communication tool to showcase how important hydrodynamic simulation can be. While this does not replace the accuracy of scientific visualization software like Paravis or QGIS, this software is perfect to assess the consequences that a test scenario may have on our society.
