Our client, a renowned engineering consultancy in the nuclear sector, was keen to reduce its reliance on – and costs associated with – proprietary software licences without compromising the accuracy and reliability of its simulations. The aim was therefore to ensure that the open-source solution performed just as well as the market-leading tool for their complex use cases: the design of bolted assemblies.
