Annual code_aster & salome_meca User Meeting – March 31, 2027
Save the date! The code_aster and salome_meca community meets again on Wednesday, March 31, 2027, and the call for speakers and sponsors is open.

Overview
Following the success of the 2026 edition, the Annual code_aster and salome_meca User Meeting returns on Wednesday, March 31, 2027. This full-day event will once again bring together EDF developers, industrial and academic users and engineering simulation experts around current and future developments of both tools.
The programme is being put together, and now is the time to get involved: we are looking for speakers to share their experience, as well as sponsors who wish to support the open-source simulation community. The full programme will be announced by the end of 2026.
Why attend
- Share your work with the community: present an industrial use case, a development, a method or a research project around code_aster or salome_meca.
- Gain visibility: as a sponsor, associate your brand with the reference event of the code_aster and salome_meca community.
- Talk directly with the developers: a unique opportunity to discuss your needs with the EDF and Simvia teams.
- Discover the roadmap: new features and upcoming developments in code_aster and salome_meca.

How to make and run a simple CFD case on salome_CFD
This video is a quick overview of how to use the salome_CFD workflow: the GEOM module to create a CAD model, the SMESH module to discretize the geometry, the code_saturne GUI to set up and run a simple laminar case with code_saturne, and the ParaVis module to post-process and visualize the results.
